Physicist Brian Cox has two jobs: working with the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva and explaining big science to the general public. Based at the University of Manchester, Cox is the go-to physicist for explaining heady concepts on British TV and radio with his rock star hair and accessible charm. He was the science advisor for the film Sunshine and answers questions every Friday on BBC6 radio's Breakfast Show. In this TEDTalk, Cox discusses science in an engaging and accessible way, bringing us along on a tour of the massive project at CERN. "The Large Hadron Collider is the largest scientific experiment ever attempted...It's nothing if not ambitious," he says in this engaging video.
